This is my hand crafted website with links to a couple of my projects.

• Podcasticot a podcast player for aggregating your podcast RSS feeds
• Daylightsticot a site that tells you how many seconds of daylight were gained (or lost) compared to yesterday in Paris France.
• Webchessticot an online chess game against an engine programmed by me.

Bingus is a fairly old project, made because I didn't find any good sites to make quick throwaway bingo cards for joke predictions

Podcasticot was started in April of 2024 in response to google announcing they would shutdown google podcasts. At the time I was using google podcasts by just adding in all my private RSS feeds and I thought I could probably make a suitable replacement myself instead of moving to another random podcast app

Daylightsticot was made to fight seasonal depression.

Chessticot is me trying to make chess engines from scratch, the logic can be found in a library called "libchessticot" on github and crates.io, it is used in a terminal ui named "chessticot" and a web ui named "webchessticot" which is hosted at chess.simisticot.com. I have a passing interest in game theory and find chess programming concepts really fun.
